What are the dimensions of the bow tank well? i’m trying to determine if my 55 lbs dog can ride up there in calm conditions. tia

Yes.

How much resistance does the pedal drive have? would like to know if i can get a decent workout while fishing.

It's a great way to get a workout in- the ratio is 10:1 on the pedal drive- one revolution of the pedal turns the prop 10 times.

What is the recommend height of the person pedaling? I’m 5’4”, will I be able to reach the pedals?

I am 5'5" and have the seat set back into the 4th hole. so yes. i think someone 5' would reach with the seat set into the first hole. There is a company that makes aftermarket parts for these like seat risers in the back that would put the back up about an inch or two that would also help for us shorter people lol

Does the salty pdl have metal hardware resistant to salt water?

Completely salt water ready- ...it's called a salty!
