Yakima LoadWarrior

Description

The Yakima LoadWarrior System is an ultra-capacity, multi-use beast. With its versatility and cavernous load-carrying capacity, it's our go-to choice for tall and wide loads. The weather-resistant, heavy-duty steel construction is incredibly durable yet lightweight, and the universal hardware fits round, square, and most factory racks.

The LoadWarrior features a sturdy design with weather-resistant heavy-duty steel construction. It also includes a custom wind fairing for extra noise reduction. It is compatible with most Yakima gear mounts for all your outdoor activities and can accommodate a variety of gear from sports equipment to furniture. Installation is quick and easy, requiring minimal assembly. Plus, it's covered by our Limited Lifetime Warranty.

Now, let's answer some frequently asked questions about the Yakima LoadWarrior:

Q: Does this come with the roof racks, or does that need to be purchased separately?

A: It comes with clamps to secure it to the cross bars on your car's factory roof rack or a roof rack you add to your car. It also comes with a cargo net.

Q: Anybody know the inside dimensions? The stated 44" x 39" size is probably the outer dimensions. The inner dimensions may be 2+ inches less.

A: The interior measurements are 38.5 x 38.5 inches.

Q: What is the impact on gas mileage and is there added road noise?

A: Gas mileage can't be much of a concern, and there may be slight road noise, similar to having a slightly-open window.

Q: How does one get a bike on this, what parts are people using?

A: You need to have a roof mount bike rack that requires cross bars. The LoadWarrior front and rear edge bars act as cross bars of a roof rack, allowing you to attach bike racks like the Yakima ForkLift bike rack (Yakima Part no. 8002098) or any other roof-mountable bike rack.
