Elkton Outdoors Fishing Paddle Board: The Perfect Companion for Anglers on the Water!
Deep Dive
Elkton Outdoors Fishing Paddle Board is an excellent choice for fishing enthusiasts. This paddle board is designed with the needs of anglers in mind. Whether you are an experienced angler or just starting out, this board has all the features you need for a successful fishing trip.
One of the best things about this board is that it comes with a paddle. So no need to worry about buying a separate paddle, as it is already included in the package. This makes it convenient for those who are new to paddle boarding and don't already own a paddle.
When it comes to storage, this board doesn't disappoint. It has a spot for a cooler, although I don't have the exact dimensions with me. However, I can assure you that a Yeti 35 cooler fits perfectly on this board. You can also use your own tie down instead of the bungees, which works great!
In terms of weight, there seems to be some discrepancy in the information provided. One source mentions that the board weighs 72 lbs, while another source states it weighs 55 lbs. From my understanding, the lower weight is without the foam. BKC sells the same hull without foam, and it weighs 53 pounds according to their listing. The foam is primarily for eliminating flex and noise, rather than providing flotation.
Overall, the Elkton Outdoors Fishing Paddle Board is a reliable and well-designed board for fishing purposes. It offers convenience with the included paddle and ample storage space for a cooler. Despite the confusion regarding its weight, it is a sturdy and durable board that will enhance your fishing experience. Get ready for some great fishing adventures with this paddle board!
Yes, the paddle is included!
I don't have the exact dimensions with me. When I get back into town I can get exact if need, but I have a yeti 35 on my board and it goes on perfect! I use my own tie down instead of the bungees, but works great!!
I am pretty sure the low weight is without the foam. BKC sells the exact same hull without foam and it weighs 53 pounds according to their listing. The foam is more about eliminating flex and noise than flotation. Most rotomolded SUPs and SOT yaks have little or no internal flotation other than air with a way of draining any water that may collect over time from slow leaks.
