It appears there is a flat molded section above the foot pegs that would allow the installation of this kit. So yes, it looks to be an easy install.

Will this fit a 16' Aquaterra Chinook?

One can modify just about anything to work on just about anything, but having taken a quick glance at a picture of the stern of an Aquaterra Chinook, there are better options available. The mount plate on the rudder assembly is engineered to fit on some pre-installed well nuts on the backs of Johnson Outdoors products with a fairly "blunt" stern. The Aquaterra Chinook appears to have a much sharper point at the stern. Good luck finding a more suitable option.

Will this kit fit a prowler 15?

Assuming you mean the Trident 15, then most likely. If your boat has a fairly "squarish" back with 4 pre-installed well nuts, they are probably in the right positions for this kit. Some pictures of Trident 15s with this rudder bolted on can be found through a quick Google image search. However, considering Austin Kayak only lists this kit for 13-foot boats, the included cables might not be long enough. But this can be easily fixed with a trip to the hardware store. If your boat doesn't have pre-installed well nuts, it is recommended to go for a more generic rudder kit. Good luck and tight lines!

Will this fit my Trident 15?
