Stohlquist Edge Life Jacket

Description

The Stohlquist Edge Life Jacket is an innovative, high mobility, low profile boating vest designed for whitewater, SUP, and wetsailing.

It features the WRAPTURE® shaped torso, which wraps around the body for a great fit. The vest also has an ultra small footprint, ensuring maximum mobility.

One of the standout features of the Stohlquist Edge Life Jacket is its top loading front pocket. This pocket is spacious and allows you to securely carry all the essentials you need while out on the water.

The life jacket is designed with Graded Sizing™, which means it comes in different sizes to create a better and more appropriate fit for a wider range of users. This is especially important for individuals who often struggle to find a PFD that fits correctly.

The Stohlquist Edge Life Jacket comes with adjustable shoulders, 4 side pulls, and a front waist buckle, allowing you to customize the fit to your comfort. The low cut, offset front-zip entry makes it easy to put on and take off.

In terms of comfort and flexibility, many users have praised the Stohlquist Edge Life Jacket. It is specifically designed to avoid chafing under the arms, making it an ideal choice for SUP enthusiasts.

When it comes to sizing, a user who is 6 feet tall and weighs 250 pounds would typically require a L/XL size. However, it's important to note that these life jackets can run a bit small, so it's always best to try on different sizes to determine the perfect fit.

For someone who is 5' tall and weighs 135lbs, the best size would likely be a Medium. However, it's worth mentioning that these life jackets have been reported to run a bit small, so it may be beneficial to try on different sizes to ensure a comfortable fit.

In terms of weather, the Stohlquist Edge Life Jacket may be slightly warm, as most life jackets tend to be. However, it is designed to be more breathable than many other options on the market. The cut and the incorporation of mesh help to make it more comfortable during hot weather.

Overall, the Stohlquist Edge Life Jacket is a highly recommended option for whitewater, SUP, and wetsailing enthusiasts. Its innovative design, great fit, and range of sizes make it a popular choice for individuals of various body types and activities.

Frequently Asked Questions

I am trying to find a nice pfd for sup that won't chaf under my arms. think this is the ticket? thanks!

Second one we have puchased for dinghy sailing and gives lots of range of motion and lasts forever!

What size would I need if I am 6 feet 250 pounds?

I would recommend a L/XL. I have a Sm/Md and my husband has borrowed it when he didn’t have his life jacket. He is 5’ 10’ and just under 200 lbs. He said it was a little tight so the next size would probably work for you.

I am 5' tall, 135lbs,what size would be the best?

Medium...they run a little small

How is this jacket during hot weather?

It can be warm but it is better than most. The way it is cut and part of it being mesh helps. I do not think there is a cool life jacket.
