Additional Part for Corebar? It looks like with the Corebar, there's an additional band/piece that loops over the top of the bar. Is this extra? The Yakima corebars pairs come with four of the loops that attach the bars to the tower. However, if you have a different bar like the round bars, the loops are available separately. They are called call SL Adapters. However, if you have lost the Corebar adapters, they are also available to purchase as Yakima Part #8880639 Replacement Bar Adapter & Seat For CoreBar.
Can Yakima make silver ones? Like to match the silver JetStream bars. It would look better on vehicles with silver or chrome rails. Ask them to make orange also, please!
Will older Yakima SKS locks fit on the Timberline? If they are SKS locks, then they will fit. Older Yakima locks were not SKS locks.
Does this product attach to the side rails on the Yakima, Overhaul HD, adjustable-height heavy-duty truck bed rack? Sure it will!😉 Order some #10 Bailing wire and a 4-roll pack of Duct tape! Contact Yakima to see if the mounting strap of the Timberline is long enough to wrap around the HD rack cross bars? If using round bars don’t forget the round bar adapter!
