Yakima Crossbar Pads

I recently purchased the Yakima Crossbar Pads for Mounting Surfboards and Kayaks, and I have been extremely satisfied with their performance.

One of the standout features of these pads is the foam padding that provides excellent protection for my boards and boats. I no longer have to worry about any damage occurring during transportation.

Additionally, the anti-slip material used in the construction of these pads ensures that my gear stays securely in place. Even when driving on rough terrain, I can trust that my surfboards and kayaks won't shift or slide.

The sectioned Velcro attachments make it easy to fit these pads around my roof rack towers and accessories. I appreciate the convenience and flexibility this design offers.

Another great aspect of these crossbar pads is their width. At 30 inches, they are suitable for most SUPs and fishing kayaks. I no longer have to worry about finding pads that fit properly for my gear.

Compatibility is not an issue with these pads. They are designed to fit Yakima CoreBar and JetStream crossbars, factory crossbars, and most other aerodynamic crossbars. I've used them with my Yakima racks on my Toyota campershell without any problems.

A: The padding is a maximum of 2 inches thick. I have Yakima racks on my Toyota campershell, and there is still plenty of clearance.

A: Yes, they will. I use mine on my Volvo XC90, and those bars are over 2 inches wide.

Q: Does this include the straps?

A: No, this product only includes the pads to cover about 18" of two crossbars. You will need to purchase straps separately.

Q: Will these pads fit on the Yakima OverHaul HD crossbars? Mahalo.

A: Unfortunately, no. The OverHaul HD bars are too thick for these pads. They are designed for the CoreBar, JetStream, factory, and most aerodynamic crossbars.
