YAKIMA Sidekick Shoe Bag & Organizer for Tents

Description

The YAKIMA Sidekick Shoe Bag and Organizer for Tents is a must-have accessory for outdoor enthusiasts. This hanging storage bag is designed to keep dirty shoes outside of the SkyRise tent, giving you a clean and organized living space inside.

Measuring 11" x 15" x 7", the Sidekick shoe bag can accommodate large hiking boots or a couple of pairs of shoes. It easily slides into the SideTrack on the outside edge of the SkyRise floor, allowing for quick and easy attachment from inside or outside the tent.

But this shoe bag is not just for shoes! It also features additional accessory pockets, both inside and out, to store small essentials like flashlights, smartphones, and even smelly socks. No more searching through your tent for missing items!

The bag is made from durable and waterproof 500D material, ensuring that your shoes and belongings stay protected from the elements. The lid of the bag seals with a hook and loop closure, keeping out rain, dirt, and dust.

Now let's address some frequently asked questions about the YAKIMA Sidekick Shoe Bag:

Q: Will this work hanging outside of the annex?

A: If I remember correctly, it runs in the same track as the annex BUT it has hooks that we were able to use to attach it when we have the annex out, too. It wasn’t ideal but it worked.

Q: Can I attach this gear bag to the side of my roof rack using carabiners?

A: I don't think it would be practical to mount the sidekick shoe bag to a roof rack. You would have to put holes in the shoe bag to use carabiners. The shoe bag works great with the Yakima rooftop tent as it has a track that the bag slides into....hope this helps.

Q: Does this have the flaps on the side of the lid, basically boxing it out from rain when closed?

A: The flap/lid is slightly larger than the compartment. The material it is made of is waterproof, but it has a webbed bottom so any water that may find its way in will drain out. Or if you put wet shoes in it then can drip dry at night. We use it to hold our dirty camp shoes at night, and also a canister of bear spray... it’s a great “locker” and is super smooth to attach to the tent frame during set up and remove during tear down. It’s an accessory we have never regretted purchasing.
